Sara Borkosky,DPM, AACFAS – Owner/Podiatrist

Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Sara graduated in the top of her class from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 2010. She proceeded to La Crosse, Wisconsin and participated in a rigorous three year surgical residency at Gundersen Health System graduating as the Chief Resident. While there she earned a deep respect for education, both her own and that of her patients. She is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons in foot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery and is licensed with the state of South Carolina. She is also an associate member of the prestigous American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Borkosky has particpated in numerous research projects and maintains an active interest in evidence based medicine. She was granted the honor of presenting an original manuscript at the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons Annual Scientific Conference in 2013. She married the love of her life in 2004 and is the happy mother of their son. She is an outdoor enthusiast participating in horseback riding and hiking and has a personal goal to complete a 100 mile 24 hour horse endurance race in the coming years. She is passionate about patient care, education and building lasting relationships.

Born and raised in SC she attended Palmetto High School, graduating in 2002. She wen ton to attend Greenville Tech and fell in love with the medical field through her first job at St. Francis. With a passion for helping others, she has remained in the medical field for over 10 years in various capacities and is a welcomed addition to the Oak Tree Podiatry family. She currently lives in Pelzer, SC with her two sons, age 9 and 6 whom are her pride and joy.
